Holy Days of Obligation
In addition to Sunday, the days to be observed as holy days of obligation in the Latin Rite dioceses, including Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur within the Conference of Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei, in conformity with Canon 1246, are as follows:
Thursday, 9 May 2024 the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord;
Thursday, 15 August 2024 the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary;
Friday, 1 November 2024 the Solemnity of All Saints; and
Wednesday, 25 December 2024 the Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Roman Missal
The Roman Missal covers the liturgical books used at Mass: the Missal and the Lectionary. In some countries in the past they have used the term Sacramentary to distinguish between the two uses but the Holy See have asked that the title Roman Missal be kept.
