The LIFE TEEN Ministry in the Church of St Francis Xavier, Petaling Jaya is part of the international Catholic Ministry LIFE TEEN, Inc, that strives to fulfil its mission to lead teens closer to Christ by providing resources and formation that encourage vibrant Eucharistic celebrations and opportunities for teens to grow in their faith.

The first of its kind in both Malaysia and Asia, Life Teen Ministry in SFX, while adopting much of its programme and structure from the international office, remains unique as it adapts and aligns its programmes to suit the needs of the local parish teens, while complementing the local Church’s vision and mission.

Through the enriching of and promoting the full active and conscious participation in the Eucharist, alongside its big brother ministry – LifeLine College and Young Adults Ministry, the two ministries work together to draw young people back to the heart of the Eucharist during the weekly Life Masses on Saturday.

Life Teen also hosts Life Nights on Saturday nights, which aim to equip teens with a sound knowledge of the Bible and Church teaching’s to enable teens to lead a holistic Catholic-Christian life.
