Founded in 2010, CSS BM serves as a home for university students and youth around Petaling Jaya who feel most comfortable speaking and praying in Bahasa Malaysia (BM). We are more than just a society; we strive to be a “home away from home” for our members. Understanding that student life can be challenging, we focus on building a supportive “Christ Family” where everyone feels welcomed and cared for while they are away from their own families.

Many of us serve as members of the Choir, Readers, or Psalmists, and we are highly active within the wider SFX youth ministry. CSS BM assists with the Bahasa Mass and the Bahasa Apostolate Monthly Gathering. This is a wonderful way for us to give back to the church while growing together in our faith. By participating in the youth ministry, we aim to bring every student closer to the Eucharist and deepen their understanding of Church teachings.

Through fellowship, prayer, and formation, we strive to keep students grounded in their Catholic identity and help them lead a holistic Christian life.
